Ronnie Wood

Rock Star, Painter and Art Lover

Ronnie started showing publicly in San Francisco, California in the 1980’s and has since had countless exhibitions around the world. Now an established artist in his own right, his work hangs in up to 15 galleries at any given time from London to New York City, Las Vegas, Denver, Colorado, Tokyo, Shanghai and beyond.  His art ranges in style and subject matter from the abstract, to portraits and traditional landscapes all deeply reflective of his breadth of life experience.  As an art lover his taste is equally varied from Caravaggio and Goya to William Orpen, Banksy and Tracey Emin.

Born into a family of enthusiastic artists, Ronnie learned to draw from his father and grew up painting alongside his brothers.  Ronnie then followed his brothers to art school and his very first job was as a sign writer.  He was formally educated at Ealing Art college.  In New York  City in the early 1980’s Ronnie also undertook extensive training in woodcut techniques.  He has subsequently worked with screen-printing, etching and the intaglio process.
