Vahakn Arslanian

Vahakn, born deaf, he could only hear certain pitched tones, thus from an early age he used destruction as a form of expression. Breaking television sets, plates and windscreens and then piecing together the glass pieces Vahakn soon became recognised for his artistic style. His huge 7ft paintings also feature rockets and candles, both of which have aesthetic and sensational meaning to him.

Crossing international borders, Tyrone and Vito are keen to forge a strong link which ultimately brings a taste of the New York art scene to London with future projects also taking London back to New York. Vanhakn is the first artist to be exhibited by this incredible duo.

Both Tyrone Wood and Vito Schnabel are young curators, who have grown up in an environment steeped in art. Following his father Julian’s passion for art, Vito, now 20 years old, curated his first exhibition at only 16 and has now independently presented the work of 11 artists with a passion far beyond his years.

Equally, Tyrone, is no stranger of the arts, and grew up on tour with the Rolling Stones, following his father seeing the world and visiting hundreds of galleries. This has been a source of inspiration for Tyrone and a catalyst for his interest in the the arts. Tyrone is part of the Scream Art Ltd team which manages not just Ronnie's art career but also a number of other artists.
